enter the void
eight long years after the release of the extremely challenging “irréversible” (which was the most unsettling moviegoing experience of my life), gaspar noé finally put out his follow-up “enter the void” in france a few weeks ago. although the wait was long, i prefer directors that only release one or two great films per decade (just like stanley kubrick) over the one’s that put out hollywood aligned mainstream movies once a year (like ron howard or steven spielberg). of course i haven’t seen the film yet, but judging from the opening credits and trailers, this one is once again full of creativity and visual treats…
